Long Live Light

Vivid Sydney brightens up the promenade

Wander down to Sydney’s favourite waterfront local for a sensory overload of bright lights, tempting cocktails and sweet sensations.

Here’s a quick low-down on what’s happening at King Street Wharf during Vivid Sydney.

Happy Hour cocktails
From 4pm-6pm you can try a Vivid-inspired cocktail at The Malaya, Nick’s Bar & Grill, Meat District Co. and Casa Ristorante Italiano. At The Loft you can try the special Smoke & Mirrors menu.

With so many venues to choose from you can almost pick a new spot every day in the week!

Vivid Sweets
If you have a sweet tooth, Steersons Steakhouse has designed a glowing 5-point chocolate brownie to end your dining experience on an extra sweet note.

Next Level Beer
The folks at Beer Deluxe are pouring their pints differently this Vivid, offering glitter beer for a limited time to thirsty punters. Meanwhile, if you bring your kids (and they’re under 12), they get to eat for free with every adult meal purchased.

Craft beer drinkers need to head down to All Hands Brewing House on June 15 from 2pm for a bespoke beer festival. Partnering with five local breweries, meet the brewers, enjoy the live music and join the illuminated beer collective for one very special day.

Weekend LED Hula Hooping
Every Friday and Saturday, come down to the wharf to marvel at the speed and colours of the LED Hula Hoop dancers from 6-8pm. Grab your phones, snap away and show off with an instagram photo unlike any other!

Tetra, Light Art
Each night from 6pm – 11pm watch the Tetra stars light up and then make a wish! You can find them located at the lower end of the promenade in between Casa Ristorante Italiano and Nick’s Bar & Grill.
