Living Colour is the City of Sydney’s floral display taking place twice a year. It brightens up public areas at Martin Place, Surry Hills, Taylor Square, Cathedral Square, Ian Thorpe Aquatic Centre, King Street, Union Square, Hyde Park Barracks, Alfred Street, Castlereagh Street, Queen Victoria Building, Kings Cross and Springfield Gardens.
The current summer displays have been in place since January and will now be 100 per cent recycled. All plants are either given away, reused in schools, day care centres or community gardens, replanted into our parks or composted.
The City’s popular Living Colour displays bring life and colour to all corners of the city. Now that colour can live on in homes and gardens across the city.
People can pick up plants from Sydney Park from 8am, Sunday 11 March. Car park off Sydney Park Road. Be early to avoid disappointment.
