When

Saturday 7 March from 11:30am to 12:30pm

As part of the exhibition Concrete: art design architecture, meet architect, Angelo Candalepas and hear about his design for the Punchbowl Mosque. Discover more about this building – the brief, the process and the material.

This talk will be followed up with a reciprocal visit on Saturday 21 March, where we will be walked through the Mosque with Angelo. An opportunity to discuss and absorb the buildings material, architectural and cultural significance.

"I think people forget this, but it can be made to appear as though it was a liquid, so if you are pouring your building into place… it’s like it is in suspended animation." - Angelo Candalepas, 2018

Please note: This event will be recorded. By attending the event you agree to be filmed and photographed, and for those images and footage to be shared online and across various promotional platforms.

This event has a clear path of travel throughout the venue with an accessible toilet. A full gallery Access statement is available to download from the ADC website.
