Welcome good fortune and prosperity into the Lunar New Year with an exciting lion dance performed on the steps of Sydney Town Hall.

Join us for 2 lunch time performances each Tuesday during Sydney Lunar Festival.

Lion dancing is a traditional Chinese performance to bring good luck and chase away evil spirits. Dancers mimic a lion’s movements in a high-energy performance accompanied by loud drums, gongs and cymbals.
