Legacy week launch

Australia’s Legacy Week appeal (30 August - 5 September) is a time for all Australians to show their support for the widows, widowers, and children whose loved ones have served our country.

The Legacy badge is a special emblem of support for our veterans' families, symbolising our nation’s greatest values of mateship, compassion and courage. Legacy badges may be little but the funds they raise make a big impact.

The Legacy Week Launch marks the beginning of 5 days of badge selling in the Sydney CBD and across NSW.

The event will feature speeches from notable guests, musical performances by the Australian Army Band, and a wreath laying ceremony.
