After the success of the Christmas edition of Bastille Festival in December 2021 and the Christmas in July Festival, the team has decided to come back. This time, with a reloaded version adapting the event into a fully-fledged Christmas market running over 6 enchanting nights. 

Enjoy a night out with a chic and French-inspired celebration of Christmas in the heart of the city. Authentic wood huts, lights, candles, snow falling, jazz music, and all the magic you expect to experience a white Christmas...

While feasting on your favorite food, make sure to wander around the magical Christmas market and shop to your heart’s content. Le Jolly Market has curated a selection of artisans, offering a great selection of gifts you don’t find in your usual big shopping centers. With locally sourced products, Jewelry, Children toys, Christmas snow globes, Clothes, Organic tea, and Gourmet products – find the perfect gift or simply treat yourself.  

Discover Canberra Distillery award-winning handcraft spirits and the beautiful Christmas snow globes from Houseworx or check out Parisian's women Favorite jewelries brand Zag Bijoux. For the gourmand and the gourmet, some high-quality French gourmet products like salad dressings, truffle oils, Terrines and artisan jam from A Taste of Paris will be available, through a selection of iconic recipes as well as unexpected flavors with a modern contemporary design.

Food is one of the essential components of a successful holiday season, that is why Le Jolly Market wanted to make sure that they brought a unique food offering from different countries: Fondue, cheese, crêpes, macarons, and Crème brûlée from France, Portuguese tarts, ice-cream from Italy, and much more.   

Discover the cheese fondue in a Cobb with Emmental, Comté, Beaufort and white wine, coming directly from the French alps and indulge on some fresh oysters with Champagne sauce. Also, you can try Pistou’s authentic French double smoked sausages served with onion confit and seasonal pickles.  

Go French this summer and try the traditional snails filled with plenty of garlic butter sauce from The Escargots Brothers. And from the Brittany region in France, arrives the crêpes: try savoury with ham and cheese, or sweet with Nutella or lemon whilst pairing with Sydney’s finest brewery cider.  

Finally, for the sweet tooth, homemade macaron directly from Melbourne at Macaron de Paris is offered. Also, Carnival Gelato will be presenting 100% Italian ice cream.
