Latin Percussion Workshop

Boom! International Festival of Percussion presents.

In this 80-minute workshop, Peruvian-Australian percussionist, Giorgio Rojas, will lead you through the fundamentals of Afro-Peruvian music styles Festejo, Lando, Pano Livio, and more.

Cuban percussionist, Juan Carlos Allende, will help him demonstrate how these styles can be combined and adapted to work with styles from Cuba, Colombia, and beyond.

Please note workshop is limited to 30 participants. Participants are encouraged to bring an instrument or select from available instruments on the day.
