Dis/Morphia: Tell Tale Bodies

Late Night Library presents a night of sinister performed fiction

Our award winning Late Night Library series is popping up at the Tramsheds with 2 special showcases.

Join us for a night of sinister short stories brought to life by Little Fictions, including Tanya Vavilova’s Whipped Cream. Set in a dystopic Sydney where currency is in bodies and sex, this story calls to mind The Handmaid’s Tale.

A young couple’s relationship is haunted by ectoplasm, a supernatural substance in Sleepwalk by Krissy Kneen. Also hear an extract on life as an anorectic from Jen Craig’s Panthers and The Museum of Fire.

Psychotherapist turned comedian Sophie Long will add some light relief between these dark and moving bodily tales.

Performances and readings by Little Fictions actors Jessica-Belle Keogh, Alex Neal and guest author Jen Craig. Soundscapes by composer and musician Stephen Adams.

Bookings recommended as places are limited.
