A hands-on experience for Science Week using microscopes to investigate the hidden nature of Sydney City Farm.
You’ll look close-up at seeds, leaves, insects and soil and take images to turn into a key ring or bag tag.
Personalise your design by adding your name and laser cutting onto your choice of coloured perspex.

What to bring
Each participant will need to bring a USB to save all your images.
We think carefully about the suggested age range for our activities and this workshop is only appropriate for children over the age of 8 years.
Parents and guardians are required to stay in the library during the session and are encouraged to stay in the makerspace to engage with the activity alongside their child.
Bookings are essential as places are limited to 10 children a session.
Bio
Jen Beer is the Sydney City Farm learning facilitator. She loves sharing the hidden nature of the farm with children and city dwellers.
Jen will be joined by experienced makerspace facilitators.
