Wednesday 4 October from 10am to 1pm
Led by an experienced facilitator in the Darling Square Library Makerspace, this workshop is a great introduction to laser cutting using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop software.
Street art stickers provide a platform of expression for artists to create imagery that subverts mass media. In this workshop you will learn the art of sticker design and production using laser cutting software and a variety of approaches.
In addition, students will create a stamp out of laser-cut plywood that can be used to produce their own stickers and merch.
Participants will be guided through the design process using Illustrator and Photoshop to laser cut their iconic designs. Bring your own designs or access our library to create impactful images, text, or a combination of these elements.
