One way of using colour in landscape painting is to exaggerate the intensity or chroma of the seasonal landscape colours. It is much easier as you work on a painting to tone down colour intensity, than it is to brighten a dull painting.
In this 2 day workshop we will explore many ways of using colour to create powerful paintings. We will be learning lessons from El Greco, Matisse, the Fauvists, and contemporary practitioners.
