Kylie Stillman stitches into paper images of geometric and natural patterns, where optical tricks lie hidden.

The major sculpture for the show, Nest, is a stack of carved books nestling into a tower of side tables. A woodgrain image carved into the books alluding to the table and paper themselves.

The other major work is Wurun: Manna Gum, an image of a bonsai gum tree, carved into a stack of 300 sheets of aluminium panels.
