This exhibition comprises two distinct artists - both in their early 70s, and both with origins in Mediterranean island life.
Kontaxis, originally from the Greek Island of Kos, celebrates landscape and geographies he sees around him in Sydney, in bold impasto.
Mizzi, with Maltese heritage, exposes the terrible disruptions that man-made history wreaks on the planet in mixed media collage. Both artists distill a lifetime of experience and address the complete actual present in divergent ways.
