Kintsugi workshop for beginners

The ancient Japanese mending broken pottery for 500 years

The philosophy of kintsugi is that an object is sometimes broken. However, this is part of its life. Rather than throwing it away, it can be repaired and the cracks remain to show its history.

You can choose from 2 beginners courses:

Traditional Kintsugi course (2 days weekend intensive)
Modern Kintsugi course (2 hours)

Traditional Kintsugi course
You will learn how to repair pottery using the traditional Japanese Kintsugi method.

This technique is perfect to restore your favourite items instead of throwing them away, which contributes to a zero waste lifestyle while keeping a beautifully restored and now unique piece.

Modern Kintsugi course
You will learn some of the basic techniques of Kintsugi using modern materials, so it can be learnt by anyone with ease.

The classes will consist of lots of instruction and practical making time. You will have tools, information and written materials.

You don’t need to bring anything.
We will provide you all materials you need on the day.

Please make a booking at least 2 days in advance to the course start.

We also have classes on weekdays, please contact us.

We do not accept a cancellation request after your booking was confirmed.
