Kate doesn’t use live models, rather her imagery comes to her intuitively. The images ‘create themselves’ and come from the artist’s consciousness deep within her spirit. Kate aims to express her understanding of life’s magnificence and sometimes, indifference.

Her incredible eye for style and design is evident in the intricate detail of her work. Her women are beyond decadent and wear elaborate ensembles and costumes, often adorned with three-dimensional vintage jewellery, beads and fringe. Kate’s imagery ranges from brightly coloured and decadent, to sultry, sophisticated and whimsical in more subdued palettes. Her unique techniques in pastel and mixed media adds depth and intensity.
