No hugging, no learning, no worries.

Junkie Pleasure Cruise is a respite from introspection, where meaning is locked in limbo and every image is a means to an aesthetic end. Stripped and scattered objects are placed in a manner casually brushing off intellectualism.

Depictions of object and environment are pushed to a state of upheaval, making the paintings easy to experience in the moment but difficult to clarify.

Keiran Gordon is a Sydney based artist working in experimental materials, creating paintings that use colour and texture to explore compositional boundaries. Keiran has been showing his work in group and solo shows in the Sydney area and is an arts educator working with people with disabilities.
