12th Joy House Film Festival

Get ready for an uplifting night of short films, diversity, laughter and celebration at the 12th annual Joy House Film Festival!

Over one fun-filled hour, discover seven standout short films from emerging and established Australian filmmakers, celebrating joy, identity, culture and the wonderfully diverse stories that make us who we are.

The 2026 finalists are Kacey Baker, Craig Boreham, Sonya Takau & Alix Livingstone, Katie Xiang Ord, Jhonattan Sarmiento, Therese Chen, and Lyna Tadount & Sofian Chouaib.

Three awards will be presented on the night:

• Changemaker Award for Women

Your hosts and judges are Dan Doody, Channel 10 presenter and former Studio 10 entertainment reporter, and acclaimed actor and filmmaker Ana Thu Nguyen, known for Mortal Combat 2 and Her Last Laugh.
