Art2Muse Gallery presents Revisiting Happiness by Joan Blond: A solo exhibition plus a selection of paintings created in collaboration with Elisa Valenti.
Joan Blond is an Australian artist now based in Phillip Island, Victoria, after more than twenty years in the Yarra Valley. Joan is creatively motivated by the relaxed atmosphere of her surroundings and takes cues from contemporary interior design. Joan’s love of gardening and classic Perennial borders shines through in Revisiting Happiness – an exhibition abundant with flowers, plants, and bold, vibrant colour.
“I wanted to keep creating paintings that evoke feelings of happiness – certainly after the year we had in 2020, we need pieces in our homes that make us feel full of joy.”
A selection of paintings created in collaboration with New York based artist Elisa Valenti seamlessly incorporate the divine female form into Joan’s floral landscapes.
Joan has exhibited extensively, and her works are held in private collections worldwide. She has also been featured in popular interior design magazines, blogs and on the TV series ‘The Block’.
