Head down to Market City, the premier retail hub in the heart of Chinatown this Lunar New Year, when Jin Wu Koon will be back to perform their spectacular lion dance on high-poles.
Jin Wu Koon pride themselves on being one of the few Australian teams that perform freestyle lion dance on poles with jumps up to 3 metres high and over up to 2 metres in length, leaving their audiences amazed and exhilarated.
Visitors can also marvel at the traditional decorations throughout the centre and head to the 1909 Dining Precinct to discover a range of delicious restaurants serving special dishes to mark the start of the New Year.
These include traditional Japanese “Teishoku” at Yayoi, spicy noodles at Mr Meng, world-class hotpot at Dolar Shop and 3 bespoke banquet options at Beijing Impressions including spicy hot crab, French lamb chops and crisp jellyfish in special sauce (available from 24 January – 8 February only). All dishes will be available for the whole month of January to keep up the spirit of celebration.
