This 4-week Saturday morning course is a unique opportunity to work with expert jeweller Susanna Strati and create your own one-off jewellery pieces.
No experience is needed to enjoy this course, which is designed for students from beginner to advanced levels.
As a beginner, you’ll be guided through all the processes you need to create stunning pendants, bangles, brooches, rings and earrings. You’ll learn exciting new skills, including correct metal selection and how to cut, form, roller print, solder and finish metals.
If you are an experienced maker, this is your chance to continue your creative journey and progress your design and technical capabilities. You’ll experiment and learn advanced skills, such as bezel setting stones and forming metal.
Full instruction provided on materials, products, tools, equipment and studio procedures.
Intimate class size: maximum 8 students. Level: designed for beginner to advanced level students. Wear: comfortable clothing and enclosed shoes (aprons provided). Bring: yourself– all materials provided.
Students will be provided with an allocated weight of metals at the beginning of the course. Additional metals if required by students will need to be purchased from an external supplier. Your tutor can provide advice on additional metals.

Tutor: Susanna Strati Susanna is an award-winning jeweller and sculptor who has exhibited her work at galleries across Australia, Europe and Asia. Her major achievements include winning the Mayoral Award at inaugural Paramor Prize: Art and Innovation at Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre.
