Jazz Jam with Justine Clarke

3 exclusive shows at ARA Darling Quarter Theatre during Vivid Sydney

Much-loved and best-selling children music artist and author Justine Clarke has assembled the finest musicians in Australia to play a selection of her jazziest songs from across all her albums (as well as the hits!) to celebrate this dynamic and nuanced form with preschoolers.

Jazz was the first music Justine heard and sang, and she can’t wait to share her love of it through the songs that your whole family may already know and can certainly enjoy together – from ages 2 to 92! And what better place to do it than in Sydney’s Darling Harbour during this year’s Vivid Lights Festival in May.

Justine Clarke is one of the most recognised and trusted faces on the Australian entertainment landscape. She is a talented stage and screen actor in some of our most iconic productions – Look Both Ways, Blue Dog (sequel to Red Dog), Maya The Bee, The Time Of Our Lives, Home and Away, Hedda Gabler, Muriel’s Wedding The Musical – and for 20 years, she has been a constant and reassuring presence on children’s television benchmark program, Play School. ‘The Justine Clarke Show!’, is on high rotation on ABC Kids, she has platinum and gold selling albums and DVDs of original children’s songs, as well as picture books, two ARIA awards and sell-out national music tours.

She is also an active ambassador for the Indigenous Literacy Foundation and a strong supporter of the ARA Endowment Fund, which fundraises regularly to support the ILF.

100% of the net ticket sales go directly to the ARA Endowment Fund, which is creating a lasting legacy of charitable support for the Indigenous Literacy Foundation, Go Foundation and The David Lynch Foundation.
