You’re invited to participate in the free, creative workshops that will investigate what it is to be a woman today.
You will speak and write your stories: big and little. You will recall women’s liberation to see what was achieved and what was lost. And you will have fun!
The group will take our stories and create movement and sound based creative episodes, through improvisation, games and play.
The workshops are facilitated Dr Pauline Manley. She has a PhD in dance phenomenology from the University of Sydney, Centre for Performance Studies. She has worked as an academic for 25 years and dances with an improvisation group. She also facilitates our New Moves classes for mature women to find their inner groove.
“I need my dance and my life to be both serious and hilarious. These workshops will be both serious and hilarious.” – Pauline.
