Exile on Main St and the best of The Stones

one of the most important albums in rock history comes to life at Django for its 40th anniversary!

Exile On Main Street is one of the most important albums in rock history and has been celebrated recently on the 40th Anniversary. Presented by Damien Lovelock (The Celibate Rifles), this is the annual Exile run of shows, especially put together and rehearsed to capture the mood of a great part of music history.

Damien Lovelock is back with his favourite homage to the Stones presenting the album ‘Exile On Main Street’, followed by a best of set. The band have performed this show to packed houses and the band capture all the nuances of the Exile recording. You can expect the hits in the second set from Satisfaction, Paint It Black, Can’t Always Get What You Want, Tumbling Dice and Start Me Up as well as the Blues tracks that started the Stones on their long journey. With guest singers from the Sydney music scene and a band directed by Rex Goh this will be the penultimate show for Stone’s fans…
