Dianne Wolfer is the award-winning author of Soaring with the Sugarbird Lady, a book for young readers exploring the life of Robin Miller, a pilot, nurse, pioneering aviator and humanitarian. Join Dianne to celebrate inspirational Australians on International Women’s Day as she shares anecdotes and writing tips about the creative journey behind this book.
This interactive presentation will encourage students to look at inspirational people in their own lives and help young readers consider ways they too can make a difference.
This session is suitable for students aged 9-12.
Dianne Wolfer writes across genres and is the award-winning author of 27 books, including the acclaimed ‘Light’ series, adapted for Cinestage, street theatre, and choirs.
