To celebrate International Women’s Day, join us online on Friday 6 March to discover more about Caroline Chisholm, who changed the lives of many through her problem solving, philanthropy and charitable works.
Follow her journey across continents and uncover the characteristics which enabled her to succeed in a society ruled by men. A woman of vision with a can-do attitude, she was responsible for establishing the Female School of Industry for the Daughters of European Soldiers in Madras and the Female Immigrants home in Sydney. She even set up an employment agency in Australia!
This session is suitable for students aged 9 - 12.
This event will take place via a Zoom webinar. You will be sent the link to join after you register. For help using Zoom, go here.
