To celebrate International Women’s Day 2020, Women on Boards will award first prize for The International Women’s Day Art Prize.

The International Womens Day Art Prize is now in its 11th year. Last year saw more than 150 entries in all media and the winner was selected by guest judges. Also included was a people’s choice award inviting the attending public to vote for their favourite work.

TAP Gallery is calling for female artists to enter the 2020 International Women’s Art Prize. Please submit your artwork (any medium) to Tap Gallery by Monday 2 March 6pm.

“We are passionate about the progression of women in all walks of life and it’s for this reason we have set up this annual prize” said Ruth Medd, Chair, Women on Boards.

Women on Boards is the leading advocate for improving gender diversity on Australian boards and work to improve women’s access to, and opportunities to be selected for, board positions in all sectors. The prize has an open theme allowing female artists to freely express themselves in all mediums and genres.

We invite the public to attend on Saturday 7th March 3pm at Tap Gallery when the winner will be presented with their award.
