Indira Naidoo: Kitchen and community gardens

Get inspired to create your own sustainable food garden

Produced by the City of Sydney

Join author and TV presenter Indira Naidoo for a free talk and potting demonstration at our pop-up Lawn Library at the Tramsheds. Obsessed with food-gardening, Indira will share her experiences with kitchen and community gardens .

When Indira first transformed her balcony into a kitchen garden, it changed her life forever. She joined a quiet revolution of people growing their own fruit and vegetables in urban settings. She has written 2 books about her experiences – The Edible City and The Edible Balcony.

Get inspiration and tips on how you can grow your own sustainable and edible garden, even in small balcony spaces.

Bookings recommended as places are limited.
