Indigenous Social Enterprise: Discussion Panel

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander business people discuss how their social enterprises work to strengthen community.

Supported by the City of Sydney

Social Enterprises are businesses that operate for both profit and purpose, using the power of the marketplace to advance a cause or a community.

Indigenous social enterprises like any social enterprise – aim to deliver broad social impact to community beyond an individual or family.

Speakers at the panel will explore how social enterprises work in the Indigenous Business Landscape.

NCIE – a not-for-profit social enterprise is proud to host this event during Indigenous Business Month.

Speakers include:

  • Gordon Cole: Chair, Noongar Chamber of Commerce and Industry
  • Marie Barbaric: CEO Koori Kulcha Experience
  • Alison Page: Chair, National Centre of Indigenous Excellence

At the Heart of Indigenous Social Enterprise is presented by National Centre of Indigenous Excellence and supported by City of Sydney.
