Join Inoka Samarasekara as she discusses new works that preserve and reimagine Sri Lankan jewellery forms with Dr Katherine Moline.

Inoka Samarasekara is a Sri Lankan designer and researcher interested in the histories of material culture from South Asia. Her newest project aims to preserve, renew, and reimagine Sri Lankan jewellery forms impacted by colonisation and globalisation.

Dr Katherine Moline is a designer, curator and Associate Professor at UNSW School of Art & Design.

Presented in conjunction with Inoka Samarasekara: The Tangled Jewelled Maze at UNSW Galleries, 18 June – 14 August 2022.
