About Improv Theatre Sydney classes

• We are Australia's premier hub for comedy and improv, teaching improv classes for 11 years!

• The ITS curriculum is progressive. Level 1 focuses on simple creativity and group mind; Level 2 works on creating scenes through strong character choices and relationships; Level 3 takes your scenework and combines it with stagecraft techniques (and is the first level to have a grad show performance); Level 4 elevates your two person scenes and culminates in the longform format La Ronde; Level 5 is a complete performance in the ITS iteration of The Harold; Level 6 uses all previous levels, works on different longform styles, and explores formats and ways of playing.

• This class is eight weeks long and meets once a week for 2.5 hours. This term, classes run on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, or Saturdays.
