Missing Time: Hunar Art/Conflict exhibition

Where
UTS Gallery
UTS Gallery
Level 4, 702 Harris Street, Ultimo NSW 2007
When

Every day, 9am to 5pm Thursday 17 November to Thursday 15 December

In association with the Art/Conflict 2022 three day series of talks at the University of Technology Sydney, Hunar Symposia presents the exhibition, Missing Time, at UTS Gallery.

Missing Time draws together works from Brazil, Palestine, the Philippines, Argentina, Iraq, Australia, and the United States, to explore the critical tension between art making and the stories, archives, people, that - for diverse reasons - are absent, erased, or actively ‘disappeared’.

Conceived as a constellation of ‘missing things’, the exhibition explores the im/possibility of recovering stories, censored archives, the lives of those who have disappeared, and confiscated or looted objects.

Tinged as much with humour, as with melancholy, Missing Time reminds us that the missing are a matter of essential value and justice.

For one month only.
