Thursday 2 March from 4:30pm to 8pm
Deepen your understanding of human rights and the queer-Jewish story in this exclusive History After Hours event at the Sydney Jewish Museum during Sydney World Pride.
Join us for a tour of our Holocaust and Human Rights exhibitions, and learn from our experts about the history of human rights violations under the Nazi regime and its attack on the LGBTIQIA+ community. Visit the Gay and Lesbian Holocaust Memorial in Green Park to hear the story behind the iconic monument erected in 2001 to commemorate the suffering of the LGBTQIA+ community during the Holocaust. On this tour, you’ll encounter some of the incredible stories of resistance in the face of Nazi persecution from our collection, while celebrating some of the major triumphs in human rights since the Holocaust.
Your entry ticket includes this special guided tour of the Museum, access to all of our exhibitions, alongside complementary nibbles, beverages and music.
