Helena McConochie’s large scale oil paintings depict the exquisite beauty and colour of flowers and waterdrops.
Residing in rural NSW, Helena has seen first-hand the devastation of the Australian drought.
Her paintings offer a glimpse of hope and bring attention of the drought to Sydneysiders.
“The drought that Australia is experiencing at the moment is the worst in 100 years. Everyone in the country has been effected – the city is only just starting to feel it with high prices for food. Major towns out west will be out of water by December” – Helena McConochie, 2019.
