Join us for an informative and empowering session to learn how to protect your bones and prevent osteoporosis.

Osteoporosis is a chronic bone disease affecting over 1.2 million Australians and leading to over 173,000 broken bones each year.

This session delivered in partnership with Arthritis NSW will cover: 

  • Normal bone function

  •  Causes of bone loss

  •  Who gets osteoporosis?

  •  Risk factors of osteoporosis

  •  Diagnosing osteoporosis

  •  Pillars of bone health

  •  Preventing osteoporosis

The Cliff Noble Community Centre is open Monday to Friday 9:30am to 3:30pm. We have free computer use, photocopier/scanner, wifi, table tennis and tea/coffee/biscuits, plus many weekly activities like computer help, craft groups, gentle exercise & tai chi.
