Haymarket Chamber of Commerce cordially invites you to our Year of the Horse 2026 Lunar New Year Banquet on Friday, 27 February 2026 at the Eight Restaurant.

We look forward to seeing all members and friends of the Chamber get together again for our annual “Haymarket family reunion” celebration in Sydney’s Chinatown to usher in the Year of the Fire Horse.

This is one of the biggest and most enjoyable lunar new year celebrations in Sydney. This auspicious evening will feature a sumptuous 10-course Chinese banquet (including ginger shallot lobster with noodles and steamed whole coral trout with ginger and soy), traditional lion dance, entertainment, and with many lucky draw prizes to be won. Part of the proceeds of our raffle draw will also be contributed to charitable causes.

Time: 6 pm for a 6.30 pm start – 10.00 pm

Parking: Wilson Parking, Market City (enter via 2 Quay Street, Haymarket), free parking for entries after 6 pm, parking tickets to be validated at the restaurant.

Public Transport: The restaurant is within walking distance of the Chinatown light rail stop (L2 and L3), the Paddy’s Market light rail stop (L1) and Central train station.
