Every day, 9:30am to 4:30pm Monday 10 January 2022 to Friday 14 January 2022
Discover the distinctive qualities of handmade papers and how to transform them into unique collages and sculptural forms. Bring a collection of existing images and learn how to make your own paper, explore image-release techniques onto papers and fabrics, and make small functional and non-functional artworks.
Expand your perception of collage and the re-purposing of visual ideas, and be inspired by the exhibition Caught Stealing at the NAS Gallery. In this workshop Janet teaches a wide range of techniques, including paper pulp making, paper sculpture using wires, thread and other materials, collage, photographic transfer and the creative combining of images with fabric and paper.
