Sunday 25 January from 10am to 1pm
Please arrive at 9:45am for a 10am start
Pack your bathers and ride from Prince Alfred Park (via Prince Alfred Pool) to Marrinawi Cove, Barangaroo – with a short detour to look at the new Sydney Harbour Bridge cycleway ramp. That means this ride links 3 swim spots, with a great view across to the North Sydney Olympic Pool redevelopment.
We’ll roll at a relaxed pace on low-pressure routes through the CBD and the historic Rocks. After a swim break at Marrinawi Cove (optional but strongly encouraged), we’ll head back via Cockle Bay Wharf, the Sydney Aquarium and Darling Harbour Water Play Park. You might even spot some fish along the way.
Riding is about building connections, not just getting from A to B. Meet other riders, swap stories, and pick up practical tips for planning your own everyday journeys.
You’ll need
Your own bike and helmet, plus a bike lock
Water bottle and snacks (it’s a top picnic spot)
Sunscreen
Bathers and a towel if you’d like to swim
Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult
Bookings required. Book
We encourage participants to complete the Cycling in the City course before joining a guided ride. It will equip you with the skills you need to ride in Sydney.
Guided rides are led by professional guides from Pedal Set Go.
