This Sydney Business Survey takes the Heartbeat of Sydney City During COVID-19
October is Small Business Month and the CBD Sydney Chamber is marking this with a summary of the recently completed Sydney Business Survey - a collaboration between the CBD Sydney Chamber, Vincents Accounting & Insolvency and The Sydney Business Chamber- followed by a panel discussion on the research and key findings that could change the way you think about growing your business.
Well before the COVID-19 pandemic, CBD businesses grappled with competitive and structural challenges that threatened their prosperity. Then, not far into 2020, business faced off with COVID-19.
This research is very focused. It's drawn from both SME's and larger businesses within the Sydney City and surrounding town centres - including the vibrant CBD-fringe business precincts of the Haymarket, Pyrmont, Surry Hills and Ultimo.
These areas comprise a diversity of business types from professional, consultancy, creative services and media, legal and financial services through to retailers, tourism and hospitality.
These results provide a health check on not only the heartbeat of the Sydney City now, but what the impacts might be on maintaining and developing current businesses.
