Green Square to Rosebery foodie ride, 2 hours.
Yum yum! It’s time to bring together your love of food with your love of bike riding. Come with us as we uncover the hidden foodie delights of Rosebery.
We’ll discover the providores and artisan food stores at The Cannery. We’ll drop into Black Star Pastry for their famous strawberry watermelon cake. And we’ll cap things off with a visit to Gelato Messina HQ for their world class gelato. To get there we’ll cruise down the Dunning Avenue pop up separated cycleway and quiet back streets.
The Rosebery Foodie Ride is relaxed 2-hour cruise (with plenty of stops) on shared paths, low-traffic streets and separated cycleways around the Green Square precinct and Rosebery.
The ride departs Green Square Plaza at 2pm and returns at 4pm.
Bring your own bike and helmet. Children under 16 must accompanied by an adult. Don’t forget a water bottle, sunscreen, warm clothes and some money for food stops along the way.
This free event is part of a month of guided rides to explore the Green Square precinct and beyond. Learn the safest and smoothest ways to get around your neighbourhood and the city using separated cycleways, shared paths and low-traffic streets. There are routes for all levels of riders, with expert ride leaders to accompany you.
