For 1 night only, Chef Zigi will share his grandma’s secret falafel recipe.
In this class, you’ll make and share a meal of homemade falafel, hummus and traditional Israeli accompaniments. You’ll hear how Zigi learnt the recipe at his grandma’s knee back in Tel Aviv and you’ll be welcomed into his culture and history back in Israel through a shared experience of food.

Chef Zigi Ozeri came to Australia from Israel in the late 1990’s and found himself working as a kitchen hand in 5-star restaurants across Sydney. He fell back in love with cooking. Fast forward 20 years and Zigi now owns and runs Zigi’s Bar in Chippendale. On the side he teaches and mentors the next generation of chefs.
