Gong Grocer is proud to present its first-ever Mid-Autumn Festival, a free, three-day cultural celebration running from Saturday 4 to Monday 6 October 2025 at World Square, Sydney. This vibrant festival brings together food, community, and tradition, showcasing some of Australia’s top Asian culinary talent, premium tastings, live performances, and interactive games for all ages.
Celebrity chefs Vincent Lim, Catherine Desserts, and Brendan Pang will headline the weekend with live cooking demonstrations and tastings, supported by local culinary stars Therese Lum, Liz Miu, Steph Feher, and Veronica Indrawan. The festival also features exclusive Labubu mooncake-making workshops led by Sydney’s G-LAB Patisserie, along with sake tastings from renowned Japanese breweries Umenoyado, Tatenokawa, and Chiebijin, and sweet samplings from local favourites 12Cake.
Guests can take part in fun, culturally inspired games like the big chopstick challenge and spin-the-wheel, all hosted by Gong Grocer, with guaranteed prizes including collectible Labubus, plush toys, mystery mooncake boxes, branded keychains, towels, and more. Traditional lion dancing and live music will bring World Square to life each day, offering a festive, family-friendly atmosphere open to everyone.
