Got a broken item at home? Bring it to our free City of Sydney repair hub and our experts will try to fix it for you.
In your 20-minute appointment, we can help with simple repairs for:
small electrical appliances, such as replacing power cords, switches and plugs on lamps, toasters, vacuum cleaners and more (no computer equipment)
furniture and toys, such as fixing wobbly legs, broken toys and small timber items
clothes, such as sewing on a button, mending loose seams and patching small holes (no zippers).
If it’s not a quick fix, we’ll let you know what to do next or how to recycle it.
It’s free, but spaces are limited so get in quick. Open to City of Sydney residents only.
