The ubiquity of the digital image online has led to increasingly creative uses of the transition from still to moving image.
In this 2 -day intensive, experienced photographer and videographer Hugh Hamilton will assist participants to explore the artistic possibilities presented by the space occupied between the still image and video.
Participants will be introduced to artists and photographers walking the line between still and moving image. They will investigate the use of time-lapse, cinemagraphs and gifs to work towards producing a work for our student show, Photostart and publication on Instagram.
