Saturday 3 December 2022 from 9am to 2pm
The Freedom Fair is a creative, fun, and welcoming environment for the Sydney community to make everyday decisions that count towards the fight against modern slavery.
In addition to learning about being a conscious consumer, fair shoppers will find an abundance of unique gifts from local businesses that are making a difference. The goal of the Freedom Fair is to connect conscious consumers to local ethical vendors who are working to make the world a better place for people and the planet.
By providing a social space and opportunities to learn, we will foster the growing ethical human rights community in the City of Sydney, and also help ethical businesses rebuild after Covid. The Freedom Hub engages with businesses that work on assessing the risk of slavery in their supply chains and work toward eliminating that risk.
Local businesses in each of these categories will be featured: fashion | jewellery | accessories | pet treats | homewares | chocolate | wine | sport merch
Vendors include: Eden Jewellery, Valour People, rrepp, The Ethical Beauty Expert, Sensi Wines, Chocolate on Purpose, Stella Wellness, Nakheel Australia, Goods 4 Good, The Bread and Butter Project, Modern Dog Emporium, Freedom Fighter Coffee and Freedom Hub Ethical Gift Store
Activities Include: Raffle, Face Painting, Selfie Station, Ethical Chocolate Tasting, Ethical Food & Wine Tasting
All proceeds from the café and the Freedom Hub Ethical Gift Store will go directly to survivors of modern slavery through The Freedom Hub Survivor School. Money spent with our vendors go towards supporting vendors ethically aligned with our mission to eradicate slavery in Australia.
