Wednesday 8 February from 1:30pm to 2:30pm
As a prominent architectural landmark in Sydney’s CBD, the Town Hall has been the backdrop for significant ceremonial celebrations, creative expression and performance arts, academic achievements, civic recognition, and a place for democratic debate.
Learn about the building's fascinating history, City of Sydney governance and some of the significant events which have been held here. You may have your own ‘Town Hall moment’ that you’d like to share with the group.
The tour will take 45 minutes and bookings are essential. We reserve the right to adapt the route of the tour on the day if there are unforeseen venue hires.
Tours are limited to 20 people and reservations must be made in advance.
We aim to deliver inclusive and accessible events. If you have any particular access or communication needs please contact Teik Kim Pok on 0436 607 274 or libraryprograms@cityofsydney.nsw.gov.au
