Free cycling family day

Give active families a platform for learning about healthy lifestyles.

Get on your bike and pedal on down to Centennial Park’s Fearnley Grounds for some free family fun thanks to SBS Learn, Cycling Central and ŠKODA!

• Gear up our kids for the future:
Come celebrate the launch of the SBS Learn & ŠKODA First Gear: a free primary cycling resource for schools to celebrate the Tour de France – gearing up to help students learn about the importance of maintaining a healthy, active lifestyle.

• Free fun activities for the kids:
Bike decorating workshops, face painting, mini courses, and more!

• Free bike tune ups and tips:
Bike mechanics will be available to give your bike the free tune up it needs, and visit the ŠKODA team on-site who will show you the best ways to carry your bike on cars.

• Get ready for the Tour de France:
Get ready with the ŠKODA Tour Tracker, wish our Aussie cyclists good luck on our Tour de France inspired chalk path, see the cars from the official Tour de France providers, and learn more about this historic event only on SBS.

• Meet the legends:
Meet Australian cycling legend Kate Bates, and the football legend supporting the growth of youth sports in Australia, Craig Foster.

• And much more for the whole family:
