Flight of Fantasy is a group show including paintings and textile art.

Elena Hoffman is a painter who works in an abstract style. Her current work has been inspired by Australian nature. She is the third generation of a family of artists, graduating from the Academy of Art in Riga, Latvia. Before coming to Australia in 2002, she taught Art History for 20 years.

Galina Tikhonova and Vera Alexanderova work together as Vera and Galina combining bespoke tailoring and artful nuno-felt.

Galina Tikhonova is a Sydney textile artist from a Russian background with over 20 years of experience in fashion and garment design. She takes her inspiration from natural scenery, breathtaking landscapes and an enormous variety of creatures, their colours and shapes. Her passion for nature leads her to create couture dresses for women to highlight their individuality.

Vera Alexanderova is a Sydney textile artist who works with natural materials like Australian merino wool and pure silk. Her artistic passion is to take the ancient art form of feltmaking and blend it with a modern aesthetic to create art and textiles that transcend time, looking both modern and ancient.
