After a brief hiatus, Sydney funk/hip-hop pioneers Five Coffees return to Lazybones in 2023! The band will be back with MC, full rhythm section and full horn section.

Saxophonist Dean Adams can't wait to return "we always have a great time performing and we can't wait to get back together."

Several band members are session musicians for leading bands in and around Sydney, Adams is playing with funk legends Skunkhour and started working with Pete Murray in 2022.

"There would not have been any of those projects that I currently play with without Five Coffees" describes Adams. He goes on to describe "those were formative years and I learnt so much."

Former Basement booker Andrew Masterson said Five Coffees were "by far the best band" he had discovered in Sydney. Come and see what all the fuss is about.
