Announcing our first in-person event for AirTree Pioneers: Fireside Chat ft. Jodie Fox and Jackie Vullinghs.
What the most ambitious women choose to do with their lives has a profound impact on society, culture and the economy.
Over the last 10 years, the Australian startup sector has grown exponentially and we’re so thrilled to see more talented women than ever before scaling businesses at some of the fastest-growing tech companies in Australia.
We’d love to see many more of them choosing to start venture-scale companies themselves too.
With AirTree Pioneers, we want to create a space that brings together the most ambitious women working at high-growth startups in Australia, so they can share stories and inspire each other.
And because you can’t be what you can’t see, we’ll also bring in VC-backed female founders to share their experiences and advice.
📅 Event Details
Our first event is a Fireside Chat between Jodie Fox, co-founder of Shoes of Prey and Jackie Vullinghs, Partner at AirTree. Jodie will candidly share the true experiences of starting a venture-scale company, having experienced both the highs and lows—from raising capital and scaling globally to reach millions of revenue, to ultimately shutting the company down in 2018.
Hosted at the AirTree offices in Surry Hills on Wednesday 20th July at 6:30pm, expect drinks, energising conversations and meeting like-minded ambitious ladies.
