Firepop pop-up is on its way to the annual Winter Festival at Darling Harbour!
You can see Tumbalong Park come alive with DJs and bands playing free live music, foodie markets, outdoor bar, firepits and igloos. You can then finish your night with a bang by Cockle Bay with fireworks. It will be one of the best things to do in Sydney to warm up this winter!
Expect Firepop's cult classics and limited release items on the menu. Make sure to get a few different things, the 'OG' lamb and the Butter Wagyu are an absolute must! The team will be showcasing the country's finest Wagyu beef from Blackmore Wagyu (Alexandra, VIC) in a temperature-controlled display prep room. That marble will have you mesmerised. To cube, or not to cube, that is the question. You'll know what this is all about when you see it!
Award-winning pop-up also known as one of 10 tastiest food trucks in Sydney (although technically not a truck!), Firepop is a mobile restaurant with a focus on cooking with fire. Particularly, skewers (or pops as they call them!) - delicious morsels of wholesome local ingredients pierced onto bamboo skewers and grilled over charcoal. They are similar to Yakitori in size and presentation, whilst flavours are all quite distinct and inspired by various cuisines. Juicy on the inside, perfectly caramelised on the outside. Absolutely perfect on a cold winter day, or any day really!
Get your crew together and see how this pop-up is pushing the boundaries of what can be done out of a 9m² mobile kitchen!
